Rockhurst U. to honor Honeywell executive

Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management will honor Kansas City Honeywell executive Chris Gentile at an event scheduled for April 9.

Gentile, president of Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, will receive the the university’s 2015 Rashford-Lyon Award for Leadership and Ethics. The ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Roasterie’s Bean Hangar event space.

The Honeywell executive, a 1999 graduate of Rockhurst’s Executive MBA program, joined the company in 1989. The Honeywell manufacturing and technologies unit operates and manages the Department of Energy’s National Security Campus in south Kansas City.
