Hallmark board of directors adds former Best Buy executive

Veteran retailing executive Sharon McCollam has joined the board of directors of Kansas City-based Hallmark Cards Inc.

McCollam most recently was executive vice president, chief administrative officer and chief financial officer of Best Buy Co. from 2012 to 2016.

Before that, she was executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Williams-Sonoma Inc. She retired from Williams-Sonoma in 2012.

McCollam also is a director at Art.com and Sutter Health.
