Arizona invests with American Century

American Century Investments said the Arizona State Retirement Systems has invested $530 million with the Kansas City-based company’s institutional investment operations.

The investment will follow a non-U.S. growth stock strategy led by manager Rajesh A. Gandhi, who joined American Century in 2002.

Arizona’s retirement system manages $34 billion in assets for more than 500,000 members. The funds provide benefits through a pension plan, long term disability plan, retiree health insurance plans and other plans for government workers.
