KCI traffic up more than 3 percent in the first half of 2014
Passenger traffic at Kansas City International Airport increased 3.2 percent through the first half of 2014 compared with a year earlier.
Data from the Kansas City Aviation Department showed that 4.9 million travelers flew in and out of the airport over the first six months.
For June, traffic at KCI was up 3.3 percent from June 2013, with 966,481 passengers using the airport. The number of passengers boarding flights at KCI increased about 1 percent for the month, the Aviation Department said.
