More than 700 American muscle cars, hot rods and other classics will be on the auction block later this week at Bartle Hall.

Mecum Auctions, the Wisconsin-based collector-car auction company, will hold the event at the downtown convention center Thursday through Saturday. Vehicles from more than 20 states are expected to cross the auction block.

The auction is open to sellers, buyers and the general public. Bidder registration is $100 in advance, $200 after the auction starts.

General admission trickets are available at the gate for $30 per person per day, or $60 for a three-day pass. Children 12 and under get in free.

The event opens all three days at 8 a.m.
