Euronet reports higher third-quarter revenue, profits
Leawood-based Euronet Worldwide Inc. reported an almost 9 percent increase in third-quarter revenue and a near-doubling of net income.
For the three months that ended Sept. 30, the electronic financial payments company generated revenue of $524 million compared with $481.4 million in the same period last year.
Euronet said earnings climbed to $60.7 million from a profit of $31.3 million in the third quarter of 2015.
The company’s financial services network includes nearly 30,000 ATMs worldwide.
