Shawnee businesswoman earns Kansas business advocacy award

Jayne Siemens, a Kansas City area public relations professional who founded Venice Communications in 2000, has received the 2016 Kansas Women Business Advocate of the Year Award from the Kansas Department of Commerce.

The department’s Office of Minority and Women Business Development said Siemens was honored for decades of mentoring and assisting women business owners in business development, management and public relations.
