A Schmuhl move in Kansas City, Kan.

The Schmuhl Brothers intermodal shipping and warehousing company has purchased a 15-acre truck terminal property in the Armourdale industrial area of Kansas City, Kan.

The 22-year-old company plans to relocate in stages after its new warehouse building is ready for occupancy.

The new site will include a larger tractor-trailer service facility than Schmuhl Brothers now has at 2540 S. 88th St.

Company owners Ryan and Ty Schmuhl said they expected to be able to hire more employees in about six months after expanding into the new location.
