Two big federal contract wins for a Kansas City company

Kansas City-based Infinite Energy Construction has won two large, multiyear federal contracts for the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.

The electrical and general contractor, with headquarters in the Martin City area, was awarded a $48 million, five-year SABER, or Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements, contract for maintenance and construction work at Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina.

The company also was chosen to work with other contractors on renovations and new construction at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Ind.
