Kansas City business group earns national honor for diversity efforts

The Greater Kansas City Business Leadership Network, established in 2009 to encourage employers to hire people with disabilities, has been awarded affiliate-of-the-year honors by the U.S. Business Leadership Network.

The Kansas City group will hold its annual DisAbility Champions luncheon Nov. 1. Deb Dagit, founder of Deb Dagit Diversity LLC, is the scheduled keynote speaker. Registration for the event at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center is at www.gkcbln.org/events.
