The REACH Healthcare Foundation is accepting applications for new directors. Deadline is Dec. 15, to express interest in the board that awards grants for health-related purposes in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

One of two major health-related philanthropies in the metro area, the REACH Foundation serves Allen, Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas, and Cass, Jackson and Lafayette counties in Missouri. It has invested $47.9 million since 2005 and had assets of $122.4 million at the end of 2015.

The board seeks demographic diversity and wants applicants with health-related interests. It prioritizes candidates with financial, management, health services, nonprofit and/or volunteer experience.

Information is available at: reachhealth.org/about/board-of-directors/. New directors will be chosen in March 2017 for terms that begin in June 2017.
