Food drive going on during American Royal Rodeo
A new initiative at the American Royal Rodeo asks attendees to bring nonperishable food.
The food drive will benefit Harvesters — The Community Food Network to help people in the Kansas City area.
Bayer, major corporate sponsor of the PRCA Rodeo, will add its own employee collection campaign in Shawnee to the effort.
The drive and the rodeo run through Saturday in Hale Arena in Kansas City’s West Bottoms, adjacent to Kemper Arena.
