KC staffing agency wins woman-owned business award

Colleen Ellis, president of J.M. Neil & Associates, has earned the 2016 Missouri Governor’s Woman-Owned Business of the Year Award.

Ellis leads a Kansas City staffing agency founded by her mother in 1986. She became sole owner in 2007.

The company provides multiple staffing services to the private sector and government. The award to Ellis recognized company growth and her volunteer services.
