After a week of cooing over adorable pet pictures, it’s time for another round of voting for the Kansas City area’s cutest dogs.

We began with about 50 submissions from across Kansas City, and now we’ve narrowed it down to 20 dogs. We want you to help us pick the top 10 for the quarter-final.

Of course, these dogs are not just cute in the face, but often in their habits as well. When their owners sent in their photos, some also shared tidbits with us about what their furry friends are like. Among them:

  • Bowen “knows with his cuteness he can get away with murder.”
  • Deuce “enjoys going to Royals games.”
  • D has served as his owner’s “healing companion since my son’s death.”
  • Harry is “everyone’s best friend, up for any KC adventure and the perfect big brother to our 2-year-old.”
  • Lizzy “follows me everywhere, upstairs and down, gently sniffs the grandchildren, and brings one of her stuffies to all that enter the house ... Our lives are enriched by her.”
  • “Corgi George melts grandma’s heart!”

Round 2 of voting begins Tuesday, Sept. 24, and will continue until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Voting has reset for this round, so the top 10 voter-getters this time around will advance to Round 3.

One popular pick in Round 1 did drop out of further voting at his owner’s request, but there are plenty more pups left to vote for.

Scroll down to the poll at the bottom to make your picks, choosing between one and six dogs. Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom to submit your vote.

Remember: This poll isn’t scientific — it’s for fun!
