Update: We are no longer accepting submissions for dogs. Voting is going on now.

Do you have the best dog in the Kansas City area? Now’s your time to prove it.

The Star is looking for the cutest pooch in the Kansas City area, and you can now submit your good boy or good girl for consideration. (Don’t worry, cat lovers, your chance will come, too.)

Use the form at the bottom of this article to submit a photo and tell us a little bit about your dog, including their name and breed. Or you can email that information to kcq@kcstar.com. Submissions will be accepted through Labor Day, which is Monday, Sept. 2.

Star readers will be able to vote on the cutest pet later in September. Although submissions are open to anyone, voting will be exclusively for subscribers. Once voting opens, subscribers may vote as many times as they wish.
