Pumpkin spice latte season is here! You can get fall flavors at these KC area spots

Summer temperatures may be climbing over 100 degrees, but for pumpkin lovers, fall has already arrived.

However you feel about the widely popular, often maligned pumpkin spice latte, the excitement about autumn menu items is undeniable.

Here are 20 places in the Kansas City area to get your fall fix. We’ve included addresses with the businesses that aren’t national chains.

Available now

Brew Haha Coffeehouse, 10332 Mastin St., Overland Park: Pumpkin spice lattes and fall spice (cinnamon, vanilla chai flavors) are available now. Sleepy Hollow (pumpkin) crepes and other fall food options will be available Sept. 11.

Core Coffee, 546 Olive St.: Pumpkin spice is available now.

Donutology, 1009 Westport Road: Louisburg apple cider donuts, apple pie minis and fall lattes, like pumpkin spice, available now. Pumpkin spice and Halloween donuts coming in October.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Pumpkin spice, nutty pumpkin and pumpkin swirl flavors are out now.

Hi Hat Coffee, 5012 State Line Road, Westwood Hills: Pumpkin spice is available now.

Scooters: The fall menu dropped Wednesday and includes its pumpkin “caramelicious” drink, autumn apple crunch latte and pumpkin spice cake bites. On Saturday, Scooters is offering “pupkin” spice lattes (pumpkin spice whipped cream and dog treats) when customers drive through with their furry friends.

Starbucks: Fall items are available starting Thursday, including its pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin cream cold brew and iced apple crisp oat milk shaken espresso.

Summer Moon: The autumn moon latte and autumn moon cold brew, seasoned with “fall spices,” is available now.

The Big Biscuit: Pumpkin pancakes will be available starting Aug. 28.

Filling Station, 2980 McGee Trafficway, more: The pumpkin pie latte will be available on Aug. 29.

Messenger Coffee, 1624 Grand Blvd., more: The sweet potato latte will be available Aug. 29.

The Roasterie, 6223 Brookside Blvd., more: Spiced pumpkin lattes will be served starting Aug. 29.

Dolce Bakery, 3930 W. 69th Terrace, Prairie Village: A variety of fall menu items, including pumpkin spice cake, gingersnaps and chai lattes, will launch Sept. 1.

Dutch Bros: The coffee chain has yet to release its fall menu. It usually launches Sept. 1 and includes the caramel pumpkin brulee, available as a cold brew or blended coffee.

Made in KC, 306 W. 47th St. and more: Fall drinks will be available starting the week of Sept. 3. Coffee drinks include a brown sugar cinnamon latte, cozy maple cold brew, pumpkin spice latte and Louisburg apple cider. This year’s seasonal alcoholic drinks are a chai espresso martini, cinnamon whiskey apple cider, cranberry Moscow mule and maple old fashioned.

Pilgrim Coffee, 12643 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park: Fall drinks will be announced when they become available Sept. 5.

McLain’s, 201 E. Gregory Blvd., more: The butternut pumpkin spice latte launches Sept. 13. Then, nearly a dozen pastry and dessert options will be available Oct. 4, including a pumpkin cheesecake, caramel apple cake and pecan pie bar.

PT’s Coffee, 310 Southwest Blvd., more: Fall drinks and food options will be announced when they’re available on Sept. 21.
