These 7 concerts are happening in KC in May: Charlie Puth, Tech N9ne & more
The month of May offers a variety of genres when it comes to Kansas City concerts. Hip-hop, banda and pop are at the forefront for shows happening this month.
Still to come this summer are the opening of the Morton Amphitheater and a number of shows that are part of the FIFA World Cup Fan Fest on the grounds of the National World War I Museum and Memorial.
As a warm-up, here are seven shows happening across May in Kansas City.
Bring Me The Horizon
Grammy-nominated British rock band Bring Me The Horizon will make a Kansas City stop for its N. American Ascension Program 2 Tour. You can catch them Tuesday, May 12, at the T-Mobile Center.
The group has sold over 5 million records worldwide. On July 10, they’re releasing a rerecorded version of their debut album, “Count Your Blessings,” which turns 20 years old in October.
Ticketmaster has tickets starting at $69.19.
Charlie Puth
Two months after releasing his fourth studio album, “Whatever’s Clever,” Grammy-nominated singer Charlie Puth is stopping in Kansas City for his tour. He will bring the Whatever’s Clever World Tour to Kansas City on Wednesday, May 13, at the Starlight Theatre.
Puth has had multiple platinum singles throughout his career, including his Selena Gomez-assisted track, “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” and his feature on Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again.” The latter song has over 6.8 billion views on YouTube, and has sold over 14 million units since its 2015 release, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.
The cheapest ticket will cost you $30, according to the Starlight Theatre.
Dance Gavin Dance
Rock band Dance Gavin Dance will perform at the VooDoo Lounge Friday, May 15. The group is releasing its new studio album “Tree City Sessions 3” on May 22.

Babyfxce E
Rising Michigan rapper Babyfxce E will take over the Uptown Theatre on Monday, May 18. He has nearly 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and is going on tour with fellow rapper Luhh Dyl.
General admission will run you $41, according to Ticketmaster.
Concrete Boys
The hip-hop collective associated with Grammy nominated rapper Lil Yachty will be in Kansas City on Friday, May 22, at recordBar. The group released its second studio album “It’s Us Vol. 2” on March 9.

Tech N9ne and E-40
Kansas City’s own is making his way back home. KC native Tech N9ne will return to KC Sunday, May 24, at the Midland Theatre. He’s bringing along Bay Area hip-hop veteran E-40 for the show.
Tech N9ne and E-40 have collaborated and toured together before, including on tracks such as E-40’s “Zombie,” featuring Tech N9ne and Brotha Lynch Hung and Tech N9ne’s “No K,” featuring E-40 and Krizz Kaliko.
Tickets start at $48, according to AXS.
Carín León
Banda singer Carín León will perform at the T-Mobile Center Thursday, May 28. It’s one of the stops for the Tour Norteamérica 2026.
He has nearly 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and has won two Grammy Awards. He’s releasing a new album, “MUDA,” on May 7.
The lowest ticket on AXS is $68.72.
