Watch bloopers as celebrities swing & miss at Big Slick’s annual KC softball game

Kansas Citians quickly learned Friday night at Kauffman Stadium why acting and athleticism do not go hand in hand.

The 16th annual Big Slick weekend publicly kicked off at The K with a raucous celebrity softball game, led by hosts Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet, David Koechner and Heidi Gardner — plus all of their closest friends.

And there were plenty of bloopers for the packed crowd to chuckle at.

Impractical Jokers star Sal Vulcano, who was one of the first up to bat, turned to the audience for motivation after failing to hit his first two pitches. Vulcano later redeemed his missed pitches with a home run in the third inning.

“Ted Lasso” star Becky Ann Baker arguably had the most comical moment of all, with the stadium erupting in laughter as she swung and missed every single pitch, resulting in Koechner ushering her to simply move on to first base.

After many failed hits and a few home runs, a tie ending brought the softball game to a close.

Fans in attendance for this year’s Big Slick celebrity softball game saw a night of hilarious failures as a result of some of Hollywood’s most prominent actors and comedians, many of who have been in attendance in years prior for Kansas City’s massive charity event.

Here’s everything else you can expect throughout the star-studded weekend.
