While GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium is missing out on big-name concerts for the 2025 season, T-Mobile Center recently announced a show featuring one of pop’s rising stars.

Canadian singer and dancer Tate McRae added 23 new dates to her Miss Possessive Tour, including a stop in Kansas City on Tuesday, Oct. 28. This marks the first time the 21-year-old performer will play in the city and her second headlining arena tour.

McRae first gained fame on the American competition series “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2016, finishing in third place and becoming the first Canadian finalist in the show’s history.

The singer’s latest album, “So Close To What,” releases Friday, Feb. 21. Her last album, “Think Later,” debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart the week of Dec. 23, 2023.

Some of her biggest hits so far include “greedy,” “you broke me first” and “exes.”

She’s made attempts to play in Kansas City, but it never came to fruition. She was previously an opening act on fellow Canadian singer Shawn Mendes’ Wonder: The World Tour in 2022, which would’ve stopped at T-Mobile Center on Sept. 26, 2022, but the singer canceled the tour to focus on his mental health.

She was also scheduled to play at recordBar on April 13, 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down live shows.

Presale tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, on Ticketmaster’s website. You will have to sign up on the singer’s website before Monday, Feb. 24, to get access. General tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.

Joining McRae in Kansas City is pop singer Alessi Rose.
