“Wicked,” one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history, will come to the Music Hall for a three-week run beginning at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 5 as part of the Kansas City Broadway Series.

The show has been hugely popular in Kansas City during four previous Broadway Series appearances. The musical tells the story of two girls who meet in the land of Oz, long before Dorothy ever arrived, and how they grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

“Wicked” runs through Jan. 23, although there is limited ticket availability for most shows. Tickets ($49-$199) are available at broadwayinkc.com.
