Kansas City things to do: Broadway’s ‘Tootsie,’ Sudeikis fundraiser, ‘Christmas Carol’
The Kansas City Broadway Series finally will return.
The local series, which hasn’t presented a show since February 2020 because of the pandemic, will bring “Tootsie” to the Music Hall for performances at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23-24, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 26-27, 1 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28. Tickets ($37-$105) for the musical comedy based on the 1982 movie are available at broadwayinkc.com.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s mega-hit “Hamilton” had been scheduled to open the Broadway Series’ 2021-22 season but was rescheduled for March 21-April 2, 2023.
