For Pete's Sake

Texans fans and others unload on quarterback Brian Hoyer

Brian Hoyer didn’t have a great day in Saturday’s AFC Wild Card Game.

Hoyer threw a terrible interception and fumbled without being touched after the Texans had moved into field-goal range. The Chiefs’ Dontari Poe recovered and Kansas City got a field goal out of the turnover.

Fans in Houston gave up quickly in Hoyer. And things didn’t get better when the Texans’ running game got the team to the goal line, only to have Hoyer throw an interception. For good measure, Hoyer threw another just before halftime and one in the second half.
