Watch Royals’ Eric Hosmer give batting tips to his girlfriend

Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is telling your girlfriend when to swing at a pitch in a batting cage.

Wait, what?

In the case of Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer, the latter was the case. Kacie McDonnell posted a video to her Twitter account, and it’s of her taking batting practice at Hosmer’s house. You can hear Hosmer telling her when to swing.

It’s kind of sweet.

McDonnell also posted a photo that showed what can happen to a person’s hands when taking some swings in the cage.
