West Virginia quarterback touched by letter he received from K-State’s Bill Snyder
The Kansas State football team may have defeated West Virginia last month, but Wildcats coach Bill Snyder made it up to one Mountaineers player.
West Virginia quarterback Clint Trickett left the Wildcats’ 26-20 victory early after receiving a concussion.
Snyder learned about Trickett’s injury later and wrote a nice note to Trickett. He tweeted a photo of it:
This was honestly one of my goals for this season and game. Coach Snyder is the epitome of college football coaches! pic.twitter.com/AGmw1SCpX1
— Clint Trickett (@CJTrickett9) December 2, 2014Trickett wasn’t the only one impressed by Snyder’s act of kindness.
@CJTrickett9 what a class act. Who does that? Coach Snyder will be missed when he hangs them up at K State
— Country Roads (@CountryRoads2) December 2, 2014@CJTrickett9 He is class. Always has been.
— Jill Montgomery (@Jill_Montgomery) December 3, 2014It’s not the first time Snyder has written to a player at a different school. Last year, he sent a note to Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro:
THE upmost respect to Kansas State and Coach Snyder, great program and an even greater coach. Huge fan. pic.twitter.com/fjeflBLU47
— Jace Amaro (@J_ACER22) November 18, 2013Hat tip to College Spun.
