New Boulevard beer will commemorate Royals’ playoff success
The Royals were the toast of the town last month.
For that reason, the Boulevard Brewing Company is planning a special release to commemorate their accomplishments.
Because of copyright rules, there is no mention of the Royals or the World Series or even baseball. But there is no doubt what sports fans in Kansas City were celebrating in October.
“Boulevard Brewing Company is very excited for Crown Town Ale,” director of marketing Jeremy Ragonese said in a release. “We created the beer to celebrate — fan to fan — with the rest of the city. We were swept up in the October mania right along with the rest of the community. With this beer, our hope was to recognize the team’s extraordinary accomplishments and toast the passion and loyalty of hometown fans.”
Here is the tweet announcing the beer, and you will note that a release date has not been set:

— Boulevard Brewing Co (@Boulevard_Beer) November 14, 2014This isn’t the first time Boulevard has dabbled in sports brews.
Earlier this year, the Boulevard released its Sporting Kansas City Championship Ale, which was a limited release beer from its Smokestack Series.
