Royals minor-leaguer apologizes for jingoistic tweet about Yordano Ventura
A minor-leaguer in the Royals system apologized for a tweet he wrote Tuesday night after the Royals beat the Giants 10-0 in game six of the World Series.
After seeing Yordano Ventura with a Dominican Republic flag, Zeb Sneed wrote:
“Get that Dominican flag off your back Ventura, this is america! #america #royals”
Sneed, who pitched for Class A-Advanced Wilmington last season, issued an apology on Wednesday:

Sneed, the Royals’ 11th-round draft pick in 2012, was 5-3 with a 2.71 ERA this past season at Wilmington.
