The Patriots lost one of their key offensive players in the second quarter of Super Bowl LII when receiver Brandin Cooks left because of an injury.

Cooks was wide open when he caught a pass from Tom Brady and looked to make a move, but he didn’t see Philadelphia’s Malcolm Jenkins.

Jenkins’ helmet hit Cooks’ helmet, and he went down to the ground and stayed down until he was helped off the field by the Patriots’ medical staff.

Cooks was ruled out of the game because of a head injury before halftime.
