There has never been a better time to go to a Chiefs game.

OK, that may sound like a horrible idea given the forecast for today’s game at noon at Arrowhead Stadium is for temperatures to be 6 degrees with a windchill of negative-3 at kickoff. But that’s why tickets are going for as little as $2 right now.*

*Which immediately triggers the memory of the paperboy in “Better Off Dead” hounding John Cusak for the $2 for that month’s subscription (yeah, times have changed)

There are four Chiefs-Titans tickets at CheapTickets.com going for two bucks. That is cheaper than a bottle of Two-Buck Chuck at Trader Joe’s. Another 80 or so tickets on that site can be had for $3.

On VividSeats.com, there are more than 100 tickets going for $3. If you went through the NFL Ticket Exchange, you’d find more than 100 tickets going for just $5. At StubHub, there were hundreds of tickets available for $6.

SeatGeek had more than 100 tickets going for $4 or less, including some that were just $3. TicketiQ also was selling $3 tickets.

Those prices don’t include processing fees and whatnot, but hey, we haven’t seen tickets this low in quite a while.

So there is time! Buy your tickets online, scrape the windows of the car, dress in 17 layers and head out to Arrowhead. Oh, and don’t forget to bring $40 for parking.
