Chiefs’ Travis Kelce apologizes after this ejection for tossing towel at official
Thanks to a new rule this year and a little loss of control, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was ejected during Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Arrowhead Stadium.
This season, the NFL instituted a rule in which a player could be ejected for two unsportsmanlike calls. Kelce got called for two of them in the space of a minute.
He was upset about a no-call, and said something to an official, who threw a flag. Kelce then turned around and did this:

Oh, that’s a no-no.
Here is Kelce’s first “discussion” with an official.

A few hours after the game, Kelce took to Twitter and apologized for his actions:
I apologize to everyone that had to witness my actions on the field today... it was unprofessional and unsportsmanlike...

A missed call is just that... missed. No matter how much frustration builds on the field, the refs don't deserve that kind of response.
