Ben Zobrist has go-ahead RBI in 10th for Cubs, and Royals fans rejoice
Ben Zobrist played in 59 regular-season games for the Royals last season. Add the 16 playoff games, and he was a Royal for a total of 75 games after the team acquired him in a trade last summer.
But because he was a key member of the World Series championship team with the Royals, fans still love Zobrist.
So when Zobrist delivered an RBI double in the top of the 10th inning of Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night, Royals fans were excited for him.
Zobrist still has that Royals magic
