The Chiefs came out of their 29-16 loss to the Broncos on Sunday with their fair share of injuries.

The most notable is the bruised knee suffered by running back Jamaal Charles, though Chiefs coach Andy Reid is optimistic that he’ll play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

“I think he’ll be OK,” Reid said.

Charles, who remained in the game despite some swelling in the knee, finished with 35 yards on 10 carries and four catches for 24 yards and a touchdown.

Other casualties from the game include defensive end Allen Bailey, who left the game with a concussion, and guard Mike McGlynn, who left the game with a quad contusion.

Starting inside linebackers Josh Mauga and James-Michael Johnson both have lower back spams, while outside linebacker Dee Ford has a quad contusion.
