Running back Jamaal Charles, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament against the Chicago Bears on Oct. 11, underwent surgery on his right knee Tuesday with Dr. James Andrews.
Meanwhile, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said cornerback Phillip Gaines, who tore the ACL against Green Bay on Sept. 28, had surgery on his left knee last week, which was also done by Andrews.
“Reports were good,” Reid said.
