Chiefs’ Steven Terrell placed on injured reserve
One day after collecting his first career interception, safety Steven Terrell was placed on injured reserve by the Chiefs, who filled the roster spot with rookie Leon McQuay. Terrell’s injury wasn’t disclosed.
Terrell had appeared in 10 games for the Chiefs this season. He intercepted a pass from the Raiders’ Derek Carr in the fourth quarter of the Chiefs’ 26-15 victory on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
McQuay was a sixth-round pick out of Southern California. He had been on the Chiefs’ practice squad.
