Jason Vargas deals, Raul Ibanez homers in 4-0 Royals victory over Twins

Pitcher Jason Vargas delivered a masterful performance in a 4-0 victory as the Royals won Wednesday’s rubber match with the Minnesota Twins. Vargas threw seven scoreless frames and limited the Twins to four singles. He struck out five. Minnesota could not advance a runner to third base during Vargas’ time on the mound.
