The Royals’ TV ratings surge continues.

August was the highest-rated month for Royals broadcasts in Fox Sports Kansas City history. The games on FSKC averaged a 13.3 rating (122,000 households) in the Kansas City market, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Entering Wednesday’s game, FSKC had televised 78 Royals games in prime time, and a Royals game was the No. 1-rated program of the day on 75 of those dates.

FSKC will televise 29 of the team’s final 32 games and will air postgame shows after all postseason games, if the Royals qualify.

For the year, FSKC is averaging a 12.4 rating, or 114,000 households.
