Yordano Ventura falters, Ned Yost avoids taxing bullpen in Royals’ 4-1 loss to Minnesota Twins

Royals manager Ned Yost had seen his bullpen exhausted in the previous two weeks, as his Kansas City team unfurled a string of 11 victories in 12 games. Their string of success snapped on Saturday as starter Yordano Ventura wilted in a 4-1 defeat to the Minnesota Twins.
