Mizzou basketball gains walk-on transfer from Bradley
Bradley sophomore guard Ronnie Suggs announced Thursday he planned to transfer to Missouri.
Suggs — who averaged 23 points and eight rebounds as a senior at Washington (Mo.) High in 2013-14, earning consecutive Missouri Class 5 all-state honors — is expected to walk-on with the Tigers, according to a source.

He originally committed to Mizzou in high school, but Suggs changed his mind after former coach Frank Haith left for Tulsa.
After spending one season at Vermont Academy, where he averaged 18 points and eight rebounds in prep school, Suggs contributed 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds for the Braves in 2015-16 in more than 30 minutes per game.
Suggs, 6 feet 6 and 190 pounds, only appeared in 16 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 7.2 minutes per game as a sophomore.
He likely will have to sit out next season unless he receives a waiver.
Suggs’ older brother, Scott, played at Washington from 2008-13 under Lorenzo Romar and averaged 12.2 points as a senior.
