Read KU’s letter to the NCAA regarding the basketball eligibility of Cheick Diallo

Below is the complete letter sent by the Kansas athletic department to the NCAA regarding the eligibility case of freshman Cheick Diallo.

Dated Nov. 10 and signed by KU athletic director Sheahon Zenger, it outlines a list of 19 concerns that the school found with the NCAA’s handling of Diallo’s initial-eligibility case. The Star obtained a copy of the letter from a third-party source over the weekend.

Diallo, Kansas’ top recruit in the 2015 class, remains unable to play while the NCAA continues to evaluate Our Savior New American, the private school in Centereach, N.Y., that Diallo attended for 3  1/2 years. In the letter, Zenger calls the NCAA’s conduct in the case “egregious” and calls for Diallo to be ruled eligible immediately.
