Big 12 Tournament

KSHB’s Kacie McDonnell, a Villanova grad, to be on TruTV’s ‘Team Stream’

If you are one of those sports fans who wants enthusiastic, biased commentary during your game, then you’re going to love the Final Four.

Turner Sports is doing its “Team Stream” commentating for the games. That means having commentators with ties to each team.

For example, KSHB’s Kacie McDonnell will be a sideline reporter for Villanova’s game against Oklahoma, which will be shown on TruTV, in addition to TBS.

McDonnell, who also works Sporting Kansas City games, is a Villanova graduate. According to Sports Illustrated, Eagles preseason TV broadcaster Scott Graham will do play-by-play and former Villanova football player Brian Finneran will be the analyst.

On Tuesday, McDonnell tweeted: “Pumped to be on the court for the Villanova broadcast on @truTV”

Games with an Oklahoma slant will be shown on TNT. Sports Illustrated reported that Oklahoma baseball broadcaster Chad McKee will do play-by-play, former Sooners basketball star Eduardo Najera will be the analyst and Jessica Coody of Sooner Sports TV will be the sideline reporter.
