Missouri’s basketball games against high-profile opponents at the Sprint Center won’t stop with the Dec. 30 matchup against Oklahoma State.
The Tigers confirmed Monday that they’ll play in the 2015 CBE Classic, and the tentative field includes Kansas State, North Carolina and Northwestern.
That event will mark the second in two years that Mizzou and Kansas State, which spent a century together in the same conference, will play in the same tournament. They’re among the eight teams playing in the Maui Invitational along with Arizona, Brigham Young, Pittsburgh, Purdue, San Diego State and Chaminade on Nov. 24-26.
Iowa State heads this fall’s CBE Classic in a field that includes Maryland, Arizona State and Alabama. Pairings for this year’s tournament haven’t been announced.
