Josh Hart Had the Perfect Reaction to Knicks Going up 2-0 vs. Spurs

Josh Hart and the New York Knicks took the first two games of the NBA Finals. However, the veteran guard views it as a tied series at 0-0 and sees an opportunity for him and his teammates to further improve.

The San Antonio Spurs hosted Games 1 and 2 but failed to capitalize on homecourt advantage. They will travel to Madison Square Garden for the next two games, where New York's loud and passionate fans will await.

Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges led the charge in Friday's 105-104 victory, combining for 61 points. Hart, on the other hand, did not score, but once again contributed in other ways with six rebounds and four assists.

He shared his mindset after the win and discussed what the Knicks need to do in Game 3.

"It's 0-0 at this point, as far as we're concerned," Hart said. "You know, being up 2-0 means really nothing. This team (Spurs) is gonna come out on Monday with an unbelievable amount of energy and desperation, and we gotta be better."

Hart only scored three points in Game 1 but recorded a game-high 15 rebounds and six assists. He also brings a lot of hustle to New York and makes an impact that does not show up on the stat sheet.

The Knicks are positioned to potentially end the series at home with a four-game sweep. It won't be easy, as the Spurs will give it their all to bounce back strong.

However, with Hart doing what he does best to support Brunson, Towns and Bridges, it could be just a matter of time before the Big Apple celebrates an NBA championship.
