Ray J Hospitalized for Multiple Days After Knockout by Supa Hot Fire at Brand Risk 14

According to a report from TMZ, R&B singer William Ray Norwood Jr., known by his stage name, Ray J, has been hospitalized for 3 days following his brutal fight at Adin Ross's Brand Risk 14 event, against viral comedian DeWayne DeShawn Stevenson, known more popularly as Supa Hot Fire.

In the fight, Supa Hot Fire absolutely folded Ray J with a hellacious right hand that sent the R&B star to the canvas and holding onto the ropes.

Ray J even stated, "I thought we had a plan," implying the fight was supposed to follow a script.

Sources close to Ray J told TMZ that he admitted himself to the hospital just hours after the brutal knockout. The report confirms that medical professionals are "investigating whether Ray had a concussion," and that the singer, who has a preexisting heart condition, "is also experiencing issues with his heart beating slower."

Ray J's Health Issues

Before the fight, a fan in attendance asked Ray J the question, "N-, aren't you dying soon?"

"That's why I'm putting it all in the ring. If this n- can really do it, he'll kill me," Ray J answered.

Ray J has previously been open about his health issues, as he was hospitalized for pneumonia and heart issues (via Ray J on Instagram):

He has even been spotted onstage with a heart monitor while blood dripped from his eyes (via No Jumper on X):

Ray J, who has no prior combat sports training experience, chose to fight Supa Hot Fire on that fateful night at Brand Risk 14 in the UFC Meta Apex and must now deal with the blowback. His already declining health will more than likely worsen after this ordeal, but these are the types of consequences every fighter, skilled or unskilled, must come to terms with when choosing to step into a ring or cage.
