Jaxson Dart's Dad, Brandon, Responds To Angry Giants Fans
New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart made some waves late last week when he proclaimed his support for President Donald Trump by introducing him at an event in New York. A predictable backlash and debate over his actions ensued and now his own father is chiming in.
While some Giants fans have warned that Dart should avoid making political statements of any kind, others are now actively rooting for his downfall. One random fan had such a massive response that Dart's father, Brandon Dart, simply felt compelled to respond.
"JAXSON DART IS A MID TIER QUARTERBACK WITH VERY LITTLE TALENT! HIS ARM IS ALMOST AS BAD AS HIS POLITICAL INSTINCTS! PERHAPS HE SHOULD FIND A NEW ORGANIZATION! THANKFULLY, I AM BECOMING AN EAGLES FOOTBALL FAN AND MY QUARTERBACK, JALEN "SUPER BOWL MVP" HURTS (WHICH VERY FEW PEOPLE CAN SAY) WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A TERRIBLE THING! JAXON FART IS A LOSER! THANK YOU!" X user Chris Mowrey wrote on Friday.
To which Dart's father replied simply, "BET!"

Jaxson Dart's support of President Trump has proven divisive and even in the comments of his father's post there's "political debate" going on.
"There are legions of people that are proud of Jaxson sir. As a life long G-Men fan he's best thing to happen to franchise in a long time. The sickos will attack and try to bully him to retreat and apologize. Don't bend the knee. It's what they want," one user declared.
"Good bye to endorsements for your son. he's overrated anyway. maybe too many visits to the concussion tent led him to make this stupid decision," another wrote dismissively.
"What a great honor it is to raise a son willing to stand on his own and not cower to the opinions of others. Great work! From a fellow Utahn," wrote a third.
"I pray that Jason Dart career tanks, can't wait to see you get put on the Bench no talented (expletives)."
Dart clearly has a ton of new friends and enemies that are directly correlated to whether or not people support President Trump.
It seemed at first like it would cause a rift in the locker room, but team veterans have stated that (despite Abdul Carter's post on Saturday) things are all good in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
