Elliot Cadeau Withdraws Name From NBA Draft, Returns to Michigan: Report
The Michigan Wolverines are coming off a dominant national championship run, and head coach Dusty May has already begun retooling next season's roster through both a strong recruiting class and the transfer portal.
Michigan added 7-foot-2 Moustapha Thiam, 6-foot-11 J.P. Estrella, and 6-foot-10 Jalen Reed to strengthen the frontcourt following the departures of Aday Mara, Yaxel Lendeborg, and Morez Johnson Jr.
The Wolverines also landed five-star guard Brandon McCoy Jr., McDonald's All-American Quinn Costello, and four-star recruit Lincoln Cosby.
Now, Michigan received another massive boost on Saturday as star guard Elliot Cadeau - who served as the engine behind the Wolverines' offense this past season - officially announced he is withdrawing from the NBA Draft and returning to Ann Arbor for next season, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Cadeau's measurables may not make him one of the most intriguing prospects in this year's NBA Draft, especially in a class loaded with guards, which likely would have left him as a second-round selection.
That said, Cadeau has drastically improved his game year over year throughout college. He has always possessed strong floor-general instincts and playmaking ability, but his jump shot took a major leap from his days at North Carolina Tar Heels to what he showed at Michigan Wolverines.
Cadeau was ultimately named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament after averaging 10.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game while shooting 37.6% from three-point range.
