The MLB The Show 26 developers are back at it with another patch as the team continues addressing several annoying bugs and gameplay issues across multiple modes. One of the biggest fixes in the update targets the PCI Anchor issue that has frustrated many players over the last several weeks. Fans have repeatedly pointed out problems with PCI Anchor alignment during gameplay, especially when trying to line up pitches accurately within the strike zone. The new patch takes a stab at fixing that display issue while also bringing updates to Diamond Dynasty, Franchise mode, commentary, and presentation audio.

General

  • Fixed a display issue with PCI Anchor being misaligned with anchor points in the strike zone.

Diamond Dynasty

  • Live content tiles are now actionable in the "home" tab.
  • Fixed a visual bug where only silver rewards appeared during XP wheel spins.
  • Fixed a bug where an empty card could appear as a reward in Mini Seasons playoffs.
  • Fixed incorrect team logos appearing in Mini Seasons.
  • Fixed accented lettering display issues on uniforms.

Franchise Mode

Franchise mode also received several notable adjustments focused on roster management and trade logic.

  • Fixed a bug preventing arbitration offers or contract renewals when rosters hit 93 players.
  • Improved trade counter offers and trade messaging, especially involving budgets.
  • Added restrictions preventing trades that exceed maximum roster limits for pitchers or position players.

The developers also clarified that future Live Roster updates are now being specifically tuned toward Franchise realism, longevity, and stability. Bigger ratings updates for MLB and MiLB players are expected during key milestones like the All-Star break, Trade Deadline, and end of the regular season.
