Shawnee Mission South and Kansas grad Rob Riggle brought down the sold-out house as the featured guest and final speaker Wednesday night at the Kansas City Sports Commission’s annual awards banquet at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.
Riggle closed a show that featured awards given to Royals general manager Dayton Moore and Missouri defensive end Shane Ray by tossing barbs at Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (“that Stanford hillbilly”) and San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner (“he’s a smelly farter!”).
