Dylan Lysen is a reporter with The Kansas City Star. He holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas and is currently working toward an MA in Journalism at the University of Missouri. Dylan joined The Star in 2026. Prior to joining The Star, he worked as a reporter for KCUR’s Kansas News Service and local newspapers around Kansas. Dylan and his wife are big soccer fans and are season ticket holders to Sporting Kansas City games.
