Calling notable citizens: Star’s editorial board seeks nominees for difference-makers in the community

Do you know someone who has contributed to your community in an extraordinary way? Please let us know. The Star’s editorial board later this month plans to salute people in the metropolitan area who have made our city better this year — or had a notable influence in the region, one of our suburbs, a neighborhood or among others in their individual orbits.

Summarize your nominee’s top achievements in 100 words or less and send by email to oped@kcstar.com; put Citizen in the subject line. Deadline: Wednesday, Dec. 9.
