Missouri does not offer early voting, but registered voters can cast absentee ballots if they have a valid reason.

You can vote absentee if you 1) will be absent from your voting jurisdiction on Election Day; 2) are incapacitated or confined due to illness or physical disability, or caring for an incapacitated person; 3) are restricted by religious belief or practice; 4) work for an election authority; or 5) are incarcerated but still eligible to vote.

Locations for in-person absentee voting:

Kansas City: You can cast an absentee ballot at Union Station from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. You can also vote absentee in person Monday.

Kansas City also offers three satellite locations for in-person absentee ballots. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

Clay County: Absentee ballots are available to be voted in the Election Board Office, 100 W. Mississippi in Liberty, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday and Monday. Platte County: Vote absentee between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday at the Election Board Office, 2600 N.W. Prairie View Road in Platte City. Absentee voters can also cast ballots from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
