Donald Trump slams Missouri for withholding election results that were already released
Donald Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, hopped on Twitter Friday to criticize the Missouri Republican Party for not publicly releasing the results of the state’s presidential primary.
“Why haven’t they released the final Missouri victory for us yet? Could it be because Cruz’s guy runs Missouri?” Trump tweeted.

“Cruz’s guy” that Trump is referring to is Jeff Roe, the Missouri political strategist running Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign.
The problem is the Missouri GOP had actually released the results of the presidential primary a couple days earlier through a press release and a Tweet of its own.
Here's how our delegates will (tentatively) be allocated based on the results of yesterday's #SuperTuesday primary: https://t.co/5RqO4hx66f

And then another Tweet the following day.
ICYMI: Yesterday we announced our delegate allocation based on the results of Tuesday's election. https://t.co/5RqO4hx66f
— MO Republican Party (@MissouriGOP) March 17, 2016
Trump won 37 delegates (12 for the statewide win, five each for Congressional Districts 1, 2, 3, 6 & 8) and Cruz won 15 delegates (five each for Congressional Districts 4, 5, and 7).
The party release notes that the results are tentative, pending certification by the Missouri Secretary of State, Democrat Jason Kander. That process is not expected to be complete until next month.
